On 23-24 June, the annual conference of the Oral History Network of Ireland addresses the exciting themes of leisure and work. Highlights of the weekend include a chance to listen to leading US oral historians Anne Ritchie and Donald Ritchie. Representing QUB and Quote will be Sam Manning (who will entertain the conference with a paper on his research on leisure and cinema going) and Sean O’Connell who will take part in the reflective panel (Gaps and silences: where next for oral historians or work and leisure?) that concludes the conference.
