Recording History Covid-19 Project

In Spring 2021, Queen’s students on the Recording History module, convened by Sean O’Connell, conducted online oral history interviews to explore the experience of living through a pandemic.

A selection of the interview transcripts are featured here. They provide insights on how Covid-19 impacted on a diverse range of individuals who reflect on their lives before the arrival of the disease and the consequence of its appearance on community, family and work. In Spring 2022, another cohort of Queen’s students will carry out further interviews and more transcripts will be added to this collection in due course. If you have any questions about the interviews please email: s.oconnell@qub.ac.uk
