THE ALMQVIST LECTURE 2018, entitled ‘Penetrating Social Forgetting: The Challenges of Collecting Ulster Folk History Traditions in the Mid-Twentieth-Century’,
will be delivered by DR GUY BEINER of Ben-Gurion University, Beersheba (pictured below.

The event is organised by the Ulster University, Research Institute for Irish and Celtic Studies and the Delargy Centre for Irish Folklore, School of Irish, Celtic Studies and Folklore,
and the National Folklore Collection, University College Dublin.

It takes place on Saturday November 17th between 9.pp and 6.00
