This workshop was provided at the invitation of the Maghera Historical Society (MHS). It focused on their new project ‘Maghera Roots: The Heritage of Farming in Maghera during the 1940s, 50s and 60.’
Topics covered included: opportunities and challenges associated with oral history research; advice on planning and developing a project; ethical and legal issues; the practicalities of interviewing; technology; data management; and archiving.
