Jack Crangle and Pete Hodson, two Queen’s PhD students for whom oral history is central to their research, recently took their emerging research findings on tour. Both gave well received papers at the Northeast Conference on British Studies, at Endicott College Massachusetts (October 13-14).  Pictured below are Jack (his PhD examines the history of migrant communities in Northern Ireland) and Pete (who is working on a comparative study of deindustrialisation in Belfast and north east England).
