Next issue of Oral History on its way

Issue 45.1 of the journal Oral History will be published this month. It is edited by QUOTE’s Sean O’Connell and features Northern Ireland updates from Anna Bryson and Ronan Deazley. Among the issue’s highlights are an article by Alexander Freund offering a spirited defence of transcription in the era of digital access to sound files;  a piece by Grace Huxford and Richard Wallace, analysing the Warwick University’s radical student politics in the early 1970s; and public history articles on the 1984-5 Miners’ Strike and oral history in Poland since the fall of communism.OHJ_45-1_coverpages_imposed
